My dad often brings me here for tea and cake,
All the cakes and chocolates are home made by the 2 lovely ladies that own the Tea Room, they have recently bought the place and have kept the cozy cottage feel and have introduced a great new menu.
The hot chocolate is amazing and I always get marshmallows with mine, this time I had a pot of tea as I have already had 2 hot chocolates today , have to draw the line somewhere right? But I was not disappointed with my tea and it went great with my raspberry and vanilla butter cream cupcake .

Quaint and full of character The Old Mill Yard Tea Room is another of West Malling's little hidden gems. Homemade goodies are served up here for a good portion of the day with daily specials on offer and various different homemade cakes. A great place to go for a light bite or afternoon tea. The only thing the place could do with is a little bit more atmosphere but I suspect that to be largely due to the staff and clientele that frequent the tea rooms.
